But seriously, this Reds board have a degree of culpability in this outcome never before seen in the failure of a team.

To reappoint Graham when it was obvious to all and sundry he wasn't the man for the job, and then finally do him only 2 games into the new season is a clusterfuck of epic proportions. They have robbed the team and fans of a whole season where they could have bought in a new coach, get a pres-season under the belt and begin the rebuilding process. Now they've lost that year.

^^^^^ I was actually thinking the same thing Ignoto. Hopefully this "worldwide process" will actually make it out of Ballymore.....

It was absolute bullshit that the Reds scoured the world and abot 20 coaches. I know one bloke in Scotland never got a "brief"

RG was disgracefully reappointed presumably with Slaughter's insistence.

Quite a disgraceful and despicable episode in Queensland rugby.

Well, a new era about to unfold. I remain opyimistic

OK its not what I wanted. And it should have happened before the pre-season. There is aparantly no change in management. Not happy.

Too late perhaps, but time will show if its too little.

But it is what it is. Go Reds.

New Chairman of the board. New Coach(es). 3 more board members up for re-election in two weeks time at the AGM - and if rumours are to be believed at least a couple were in RG's corner

March will turn out OK I reckon.

Do we need to send them a shortlist of coaches to interview for 2017 so they get it right this time?

Blokes like Laurie Fisher, Ewen McKenzie or even Robbie Deans?

Last year we signed Graham to 1 year, Stiles to 2 years and O'Connor to 3 years.

At best only 1 of them will finish those contracts.

Who's responsibility will the next appointment be?

Well, it took a good few years for things to get to this point. Here's to the long road ahead and hopefully the Reds finding their feet again.

On the other hand the new head coach will have a free season (or what's left of it) before any losses stop being pinned on GH. That might be a positive in recruiting.

Also, since they're at rockbottom anyway, Jake White?

Why would White leave Montpellier? He's in the top 6 with a 7 point gap between 7th place, and a nice squad that will probably only get better with the potential additions of Tomane and Nadolo.
