The penalty should have led to a yellow for the infringement, they already had a warning in the red zone.

They were penalised and Joubert allowed 10 plus phases advantage and the Wallabies were 2m out when he called advantage over

Which of these was satisfied?
Advantage can be either territorial or tactical.

(c)
Territorial advantage means a gain in ground.

(d)
Tactical advantage means freedom for the non-offending team to play the ball as they wish.

A very tight half. High level of physicality from both sides. Lots of stuff off the ball from both also.

It will be interesting how Cheika and Jones use their benches and whether they can spark something to break the arm wrestle.

We should have put like 10+ more points on them, but the ARU won't hire a kicking and skills coach :mad::mad::mad::mad:

It is going to be a brutal next half, if the ref doesn't get ahold of it.

I think England got away with not getting a YC at the end their, and/or Robshaw

Thoughts:

Our kicking sucks
Our hands suck
England are cheats and should have had 2 yellows (maybe even a red)

Been a very exciting first half. Would normally have expected Australia to have put more points on the board given the amount of danger they've created.

England are very lucky to be starting the second 40 at their full compliment. It looked like Joubert was reaching for his pocket just before he issued the warning. Then England infringed again close to the line. Definitely should have been a yellow.

On a positive Kerevi is the new 12. Goodbye double playmaker system. Falou a threat as always.

Kerevi has had an excellent game so far. He's a good option at 12 certainly but as always as soon as he has a below average game, there will be calls to revert to a second playmaker. Can't please all of the people all of the time.
