Reds will be a lot tougher opposition than the positions on the log might indicate.

Poey, out. Henry, out. Smiler, out. Tomane, doubtful.

On top of that, the coach has been absent for three weeks with the Wallabies, and most of the squad has either not played since the break started or have only had 10s time. Expect them to be rusty.

OTOH the Reds have shown decent improvement under the new coaching setup and have recruited Houston to provide more starch in the loose forwards.

Game is set up for a boilover.

The Brumbies assistants know the plan and their jobs. Larkham doesn't need to hold their hands. The injuries are a problem but the Reds have a few problems there too. The second row looks shaky as all fuck.

Could be a case of last man standing, Sully?

BTW, how will the Reds' scrum be affected, if at all, by the shaky second row?

Simmons, Karmichael, Feauai-Sautia and Laloifi will all miss the Brumbies game.

Reds will be lucky to finish within 20 points.

And Douglas back from the bench. No idea who will be lock. If Kane is coming back from the bench, and Matwijow is released whilst Lukhan Tui and Roddha are OS, then it must be Neville and Brad Thorn.

No Hunt, Laloifi nor JJT also limits our fullback options.

Will likely be Duncan Paia'aua I guess.

This could be closer than most people think. The Brumbies won't have Pocock or Smiler in the forwards so we're searching for backup 8 or will go with Butler at 8 and Michael Wells at 7.

We will have To'omua back at 12 which will be good. Will be interesting to see how Cubelli goes coming back from Argentina.

Also interesting to see which sheds S Fainga'a heads to before the game and doesn't make a mistake.

Are you suggesting we just need to roll over now? Wave the white flag and let the opposition do what they want?
No I'm suggesting that if those players were leaving anyway now is a good time to see what other players have to offer.
