No - never got a reply to my earlier message over two weeks ago, nor to the one earlier today.

But this is boring everybody and I have a message for them too.

___________________________

You may have noticed that there have been some blogs on the trials for the last few weeks - with (mainly) CAS and GPS schools playing each other.

There is another round tomorrow and the last round is the following weekend.

On Sat 3rd June there is a a trial between GPS schools only and on June 17th the GPS comp starts.

The last time I looked I couldn't find any info on the CAS site, so I will assume it's the same as the GPS.

If anybody would like to write on any CAS trial or competition game please let me know here and I will add you to the writing list.

There's a limit on the number of words - just 500; so it's not too hard, in fact folks find it hard to limit the words to 500 once they get started.

How about it? Let me know here and I can add you to the trial writing list and you can read all the guff.

Yes happy to write a report on the Waverley games.

The CAS comp starts on June 3, eg Waves play Aloys at QP.

I did send the texts to you, most certainly today, strange you didn't get them but never mind, lets move on.

Cheers,

LG

The name of the convo is "WLF / Lee Grant". Nobody else can see it except me and you.

If you can't see that when you click on "Inbox" we had better call Ghostbusters.

You should also have seen a red alert flag near "Inbox".

You should also have seen a second convo because I invited you to the writers convo today.

Inside Shoulder - send him a convo and see if you have any luck.

CAS starts on Jun 3? Thanks - OK - that's a trial day for GPS - they start on Jun 17.

I'll get Rod Skellet to put your name down for Waverley v Aloys.

Meantime tomorrow can you please do a report on the trial game Waverley v Newington? It should be a cracker.

Got it Lee,

Will give it a go, there are a few interesting games tomorrow, wish this rain would p... off, so we can see the real talents on the field.

Rain typically ruins free flowing rugby.

Just got notified by the school (Waverley) that ALL 14 and 15's games at Newington tomorrow are Cancelled. ALREADY!!!

What a joke, and I am not having a go at New, but it has only rained on and off a bit.

We also nearly had our full side back for the first time this year in the 14a's.

ALL TOOOOOO SOFT!!!!!

LETS'S JUST ALL PLAY SOCCER OR ARIEL PING PONG!!!

Is it true that Cranbrook have announced they are withdrawing from the CAS Rugby competition, and will only play against schools they see to be similar in ability levels?

FF (Folau Fainga'a),

Where did you here this from, I certainly hope your info is wrong.

Cranbrook have the resources to cope with anything they want to, more than any other school in Australia.

This would be historically tragic and throw the CAS into uneven turmoil.

More importantly for such a fantastic school this would be UNBELIEVABLE.

Please let us know your source.

BOLIVIA,

You are completely in the know, can you shed any light?

I'd rather not, if you don't mind.
If I am wrong, I'll cop the blowback. No-one else.
I too hope this information is wrong, especially since Cranbrook are recent (2014) winners of the Henry Plume Shield.
The specific details of the withdrawal include not playing against Knox and Waverley this year, nor a Shore trial during the holidays.

I take it then that you have see my individual convo with you and also the convo involving the writers.

I also assume that you will do a report of the trial between Waverley v Newington tomorrow today - of up to 500 words though it can be fewer.

I assume also that you will put your report on the trial match into the writers' convo and assume you have "Got it" with that convo also.

From now on use only the writers' convo for writing matters because this thread is for general discussion about CAS rugby - not for the writing about it.

Lee,

Relax I will do my best, this is not the armagedon, and that includes todays game Waverley v Newington.

Scots up 10-0 v Knox at HT in 2nd XV.
16As 19-19. Scots won 3rds 17-7 and 4ths 24-17

After I great kickoff Knox spent the next 15min camped in Scots half before making it 10-5 with 20 left

Another relatively even 15min before some great runs by the Scots wingers and a barge over try making it 17-5 with 5 left
Then another to make it 24-5 at FT.

Disappointing Scots crowd, almost as many Knox kids
