I for 1 was really hoping that these types of comments were exhausted.

But unfortunately some true colours have re-emerged.

For 1, these "meaningless trials" haven't been in play for a long time, so saying "Once again" doesn't makes any sense to try and prove a point, and the rats arse comment shows an unfortunate attitude.

The fanciful suggestions made by the "CAS-0-PHILES" - nice comment, probably didn't match the duck-egg, or was it a chicken-egg,or a donut, which was a bloody funny ha ha ha in-house comment until it really back fired BIG TIME, and of course one of those super funny persons went underground, convenient.

Now after just 1 game,ie view vs new, in the first GPS round, a proclamation is made about how it was all a joke.

Look around in all age groups buddy as a union community, we need to evolve, as the good old days need to change for the future of Aussie rugby.

Not sure though if you can adjust, hope so.

I thought it would happen last year QH.......(but loosing three games on the trot in the second round by a total of 12 points was enough to kill our hopes) regardless, I will happily accept this year as a consolation prize!

I think there was more brilliance in last year's Kings team but it was unbalanced sometimes. Pietsch was a freak but he always wanted to run wider channels in attack, as all 7s players do. In attack, this increased turnover risk on the other young back rowers, especially against Rorke (I). The 9 and 10 combo also didn't always work well. Last year, Kings still came second so it was a very good result.

This year's team is very solid in every position and they all combine well. Today, I saw 7 sets of seconds socks on the field late in the game so they are clearly trying to manage some injuries. But the season is almost over,..........even though it has just begun.

I have seen Joeys play Waverley and Shore and I'm not surprised, and not surprised they got beaten at home today by Scots. They can still achieve a joint premiership this year but other teams should look out for Joeys next year.
