Dismal Pillock

Simon Poidevin (60)
missed 2. One of whom I'd never even heard of. ffs how could Ella not be there? Or Gould? I definitely remmeber them kicking NZ's arse.

waiopehu oldboy

Stirling Mortlock (74)
^^^^^^^^^ only played 25 Tests each, the latter mostly due to injury & the former for reasons I've long forgotten. Both fantastic players, but. If the guy you've never heard of is who I think it is don't beat yourself up too much, I'd be surprised if many kiwis under the age of 50 would remember him given that Straya were very much "Division 2" back in those days, we played them every coupla years & pretty much didn't give them much thought in between, even after "that" day at Eden Park.

10/11 incl a fluke by typing just the surname of the late-70's/ early 80's guy I was thinking of as I was running out of time & up pops his much more recent namesake. Still kicking myself for the one I missed, so obvious when I thought about it some more. What a Burke I am :).

The torpedo

Peter Fenwicke (45)
Shot out of the blocks getting the top 6 instantaneously then completely forgot everyone else.

Missed Latho, Rabbit, Sookface, Roff and McLean

Teh Other Dave

Alan Cameron (40)
I only remembered one very obvious candidate at the last minute, and forgot about the same culprit as Reg.

Funny to think that Simon Culhane scored neary as many points as some of these guys in a handful of tests.
