Fraser McReight with 25 at 3.8 per 80 minutes. Moseley, if 26 in 6 is correct, has 4.9 per 80 (that's not including his yellow cards - two or three this season) Having commentated three of his games and watched a fourth this year, that seems more than a little high. I'm told there is a highlights reel kicking around but I've not seen it yet. That should shed some light on the subject

It's official: Moseley holds the record with 27 in 6. Any more from the weekend's match with State High extends that.

I see the BBC 15 As put 60 on GT as they did on a few other teams.Surely the most dominant under 15 team in history of GPS and I saw the undefeated ACGS team of 2012 and the BBC team of 2013 and all those undefeated NC 15 A teams in mid 2000s .But they were not racking up 50 points week in week out.
Does that relate to a good 1st xv team in 2019? yes.
But the big problem that all schools will face (as we have seen over last 5 years) is that most of of the undefeated TSS 16 A team(and quite few at NC) are grade 10-so like this year, in 2019 you will have very good 17 year olds playing good 18 year olds and in the last 10 minutes it will show.
But hey-one hell of a season by them.

Congrations to BBC winning the u15a comp. any win at GPS A level is a great achievement. The under 15 comp. Isnt a cyrstal ball to anything in the future just as the 16a is to first, the 14A to next years 15A ... Its the under 15 comp of 2017... Just looking back on our BBC under 15 season... didnt we just beat BSHS in the last 3 minutes and Nudgee in the last minute by 3 points..

Lets not get to ahead of ourselves and give credit were credit is due...

Well done to our under 15 boys

Great numbers by Moseley - a fantastic feat

Without taking anything away from the individual who is able to rack up these type of numbers - it becomes possible to the extent of how good a team's overall defense is .

For simple example some teams are better at " herding" ball carriers that leads to more isolation opportunities , and then , some teams choose to chop more in tackle style rather than attacking too high and thus generally leads to increased probability of a cleaner contest on the ground

Collectively , Nudgee's defense this season ( from what I saw ) was sensational . They worked together on this side of the contest and I really think this is what underwrote their Premiership success

And the types of opportunities for Hayden Moseley who made the absolute most of it in a highly successful season

Well done to the Blue and White

TGS 31 def Downlands 26 to win the O'Callaghan Cup in front of a huge crowd at TGS. The score flattered Downlands somewhat as TGS led 26-0 and 31-7 at times. Credit to Downlands for fighting back. Man of the match was centre, Nathan Carroll for TGS. Downlands Captain and Australian Schools rep, Kohan Herbert also showed his class leading the fightback.

Jordan P (BSHS #15) should definitely be the fullback for the GPS team of the season over Jangala B (NC #15). Jordan is a slightly better ball carrier but he is much stronger in the defence sector.
