So much for an offseason. They’re schoolboys, hope they’re having a bit of fun with winter sport. Year round commitments for school sport is ridiculous, regardless of code.
Don't think they've announced captain of rugby as yet however Charlie Baker has been on field captain for the games. Great kid who I expect to get the nod
As a Kings supporter I've been impressed with their form coming from a relatively low base after the highs of last year. I think the coaches have made this a development year with a lot of year 11's and 10's in the Opens squad - probably on par with their year 12 peers in some instances but more...
lol as soon as I say that. Waverley midfield scrum, their backs run around Kings to score in corner. Exactly what New did last week. Kings backs defence off scrums a work in progress. FT 38-24 or thereabouts
Waverley 12 yellow (their best player). Kings have run in a few more think about 38-19.
Forwards definitely Kings strength, limiting opponents backs chance to attack through backs
Kings v Waverley
Waverley got up in most of the junior A games aside from 15s.
last years GPS winning 15s team got pumped in the 16s, at least 5 playing up in Opens
Kings dominated lower Opens games and had close wins in 2s and 3s.
1s just started with Kings up 5-3 after 15.
Yes, and only going to get better. Play the ball not the man.
The coaches preferred a four all from the same school, that simple, and is the usual practice (eg Aug quads of the past)
I think you’ve all been baited and taken the hook quite well. Year 13 is something from the past.
Maloney boys et al got better things to do than spend another year at school.
Wise up
There’s a smattering across several of our illustrious schools, including those adamant triangle playing ability is not supported. Add in Augs and you’d have most schools in the same bucket.
