I’m hearing rumours that Auggies are going to play Waverley as the curtain raiser to the Wallabies Samoa test in a couple of weeks. Apparently they were meant to play Barker but they pulled out, then it was offered to Knox and they also declined
There are till a few boys our injured but...
Agree. Both the teams played well but in patches. I was out there for the games so here is my take...
ISA 1s were unlucky to lose against Presidents 2s yesterday.. they pressing the opposition line towards the end of the game at 0-0 when GPS winger intercepted to score in the corner. Their...
My understanding is Auggies a had a couple of their firsts and a roughly equal split between their seconds and thirds and then lost a couple of their seconds on the day of the game. Villanova played 4 Qld schools players and an academy boy. They were the better side on the day and deserved their win
16/2s beat AICES convincingly and had a narrow loss to CCC
16/1s had a strong win over CHS
Open 3s went down to AICES, not sure how they went against CHS 2
Open 2s solid win over CCC.
Open 1s big win over CHS1.
Some very pleasing results all round with some solid performances across the...
I’m hearing Auggies have a massive injury toll in the 1s and 2s at the moment. Up to 15 boys out with shoulders, knees and concussion Some look likely to be out for an extended time but the majority will start to come back in the next few weeks
Auggies v Kings 1s 19 all
Auggies v Kings 2s. 7-34 (3-4 boys replaced with bad injuries in first 15 minutes made it a tough afternoon for Auggies but Kings were very good and deserved the win)
16as Kings 19 - 14
15as to Auggies
Don’t know the others
1s went down 17-31
2s went down 14-28
Saints 1s had at least 6 key players out with injury, league or other commitments, so a number of boys pulled up to both 1 and 2 teams from below. That said Eddies were the better teams on the day and deserved their wins
Auggies winners over Oakhill in 1’s and 2s but lost in 3s to Oaks
Auggies also had wins in 16a and 16b by big scores to 0 but lost 15a to Oaks 19-15
Any other scores from the weekend?
Thanks
I think the teams are announced tonight..they were put up on the Waratahs site on the Sunday night last year
My boy isn’t involved this year but good luck to all the boys up for selection.
ISA blacks lost to Aices 25-15 A few tough calls went against them including their flanker getting red carded for a dangerous tackle and several deliberate knockdowns from Aices slipping through as ok. ISA gold went down 20-0 or thereabouts to CCC. Don’t think the score line was an accurate...
