As I have said in a previous comment, BBC teams are predominatnly picked around parental involvement and emails, which again will happen this year, so they will have a good team but not the best team they could field.

Thanks for the feedback "CONFUSED SAY" and of course you are more than entitled to your opinion. Too many people have put too much emphasis on size when looking at rugby players and teams. All good back lines (which you refer to) in both Union and league are built on the basis of a good forward...

I don't ever pass comment on this stuff, but agree the level of Under 16 Brisbane teams was poor, put in the fully fit Wests Div one Under 15 team and they win the whole thing, easily.

In addition to your comments Tashara, and at the risk of copping a pasting from others, I would say that the city sides win whilst devastating was fairly predictable and in years to come the winger type sprinter will not be able to just catch and run around kids and score tries like they did...

A simple solution for all this and to keep the City V Country thing alive may be to go down the path of an Origin sort of thing, the boys get selected based on where they played their first Junior game of Rugby, that would make it interesting, that way all those boys who do come down to Brisbane...

Lion, when you speak about the best back in the competition I presume you are speaking about the new guy at Ipswich Rangers, it is amazing what one good player can do, he has changed that team from a Div two team into a top 3 Div one team. The selectors should bend the rules and get that boy...

Excellent and well put Tashara, the team at Nerang is superbly coached and it is no surprise that they are successful given the talent of their coach. The word is the coach is involved at a BBC under 14 level, look out to those who come accross his team, they will be well coached and drilled.

all good points, yes the green team would have been a lot stronger with out the injuries and pull outs. Looking forward to seeing the Coast team Given the strength of their club teams.
