Amazes me how Scott Sarson (good for him) can be nominated or voted as a contender to the Barraclough medal after missing more than half the season through injury then played 2nd grade on his return. Interesting to note, how the same voters not nominate/choose a player from the minor premiers...

Our thoughts and condolences go out to Balmain Rugby and the family of player Holoua Tonga who was taken away suddenly mid week. Rest in peace our brother, we are certain that the great memories will live forever. I can speak on behalf of all of the Suburban Rugby family, we say be at peace Holoua!

Hunters finished Minor Premiers but it means Jack....come finals. All 4 teams,Hunters Hill, Blue Mountains, Waverley and Forest can win on the day. Should make for a cracking Finals series. Bounce of the ball between them!!!!

Question is, is Jamie Parker the only one playing in this Forest outfit that is from a league professional team. The Holden cup is far more professional than 1st grade Shute Shield, down right cheating! However to the rest of the clubs that make the finals, they are only human and the week...

Does anyone have a contact at Souths re coaching for season 2017....... Good mate who is coaching in the Shute shield NSW is moving to Melbourne and will be living in the Frankston area.
