Can someone help me out here....I understand that Ashgrove won the third XV premiership by a point over Padua but Ashgrove played one more game than Padua. How can that be. My understanding is that there is an even number of games and if there is a washout, all games are washed out....look...

Marist had all the ball. Padua got 3 yellow cards and penalty count was 21-5 in Marist's favour. Padua still won 16-5. ONe of the great AIC victories for Padua. Marist tried hard but we're tackled out of the game

Padua defeated St Pats 24-12 in a very good trial game yesterday afternoon. The Padua forwards were very good but so were the Pat's forwards. The Pats forward's defence was exteremly strong as was theie number 9. Padua had a bit more class and speed in the backs and scored 3 of their 4 tries out...

For what it is worth, Padua played against a touring Perth team yesterday, Wesley College and beat them 69-7. Padua was without three of their best players but easily defeated a pretty competent rival. Once again too much dropped ball and impatience from the Padua outfit. Best players Swencke...

50-0!!! No one from Iona played well!

Score was definitely only 50-0. 38-0 at half time.

Padua played well but Iona were terrible. Very long season for the black and whites. Padua will need to play much better if they are to be a contender. A lot of dropped ball and their intensity in the second half was poor.
