Unfortunately Stannies will not be playing in the ISA competition this year, this second outbreak of covid could not have come at a worse time for Stannies rugby.
Kinross decided back in April they would not take part in this years ISA competition because of covid and the issues and costs with social distancing on buses.
Stannies have been training and preparing to play as normal unfortunately with the latest covid outbreak firstly in Campbelltown and now...
Good report BIH a fair review the red headed winger is Oliver Kemp from Stannies originally not picked in any side ( which is a mystery as he has been consistently the best on field in ISA games for years) came into the 2nds before the trial and has been one of their best.
The 2 and 5 from...
Stannies 16As 60 - 3 St Gregs
stannies boys impressive at home forwards set a great platform and with the majority of possession eventually the pace out wide was a bit too hot for the gregs boys.
Fantastic 40 metre drop goal on the siren by gregs brought a smile to all the crowd.
Stannies 12 Kinross 8
Cracking game of rugby scoreless at halftime, 2 players sent off one from each side.
Scored changed 3 times in the last 5 minutes.
Both teams played their hearts out.
Got to love schoolboy rugby
Any other ISA scores??
Agree Tah trial form can sometimes be deceiving, let's hope the teams get through this final week end of games injury free and ready to launch into a competitive ISA season.
On recent results you would have to think Auggies are clear favourites
Stannies Kinross and the fast improving Gregs all have some good football in them and will be thereabouts.
St Pats willl be dangerous and I think Pius and Oaks will struggle.
