    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

Me again :) Firstly, congratulations to Waves for 2020, didn't get a chance before Rod started this thread. I have heard through the grapevine that Albertyn, from Barker, is underage and repeating this year. Anyone know if either is true?

    NSW CAS Rugby 2020

My breakdown of the Cranbrook Barker game at Dangar yesterday: It was a wet day with the night's rain and earlier drizzle making the ground damp and muddy. This meant that slick back's play was restricted and more hard line footy was being played; much more enjoyable IMO, additionally, scrums...

I think Barker kept most of their starters on for game fitness, they had Waverley the next week. Waves had a tougher match prior to Barker which benefited them. I think thats why they kept the starters on for so long? Not talking down Waves, they were the better team against Barker. Just my...

I stand corrected on the Barker Waverley game - congratulations to Waves. Great, physical game. Definitely wrong about the scrums :(

I agree on the scrums, should be a good match up. Although, as stated previously, Barker's scrum was very dominant over Newington's who had about 8kg per player on Barker. NSW CAS Rugby 2020

Still new here but I think the different team dynamics between Waverley and Barker will play out very interestingly. Barker's fast game vs Waverley's middle of the paddock running. Any comments?

Tyrone's development has been dramatic since his first appearance for Barker at 6 in the u16s in 2018 and had a great game yesterday, but is it not too much to say he is at their level? No malice intended.

All this talk about the Barker scrum... Is it the whole pack working as a unit or is it a dominant front row?

Rod, how did the two opposing hookers fare against each other regarding scrums, lineouts and general play? I have heard they are both high level players, please correct me if I'm wrong. Appreciate the detailed report.
