I fear that I would be of little use. While I'm in growing rebellion about metro dominance I struggle to understand pathways let alone access info on individual players. And then there are the girls! And the relationship with club rugby. To try to illustrate the complexity tas struggles to get...

As an aside, it looks as if 4 tas firsts are playing in this derby. Gps 2. Country under 18 1, AICES 1.

Thank you! At the moment I can only report on the games played in armidale but will do that

Again beautiful conditions at tas for the rugby. Cool, sunny with no wind. Tas seconds and iggies 5th played a 12 all draw. As already noted iggies thirds defeated tas firsts 28 to 26 in a very close match. Iggies scored quickly after the start and I thought the tas forwards were going to have...

It turned out to be a really nice day in Armidale. Cool, but no wind and bright sunshine. I went across early hoping to see some other matches only to find that Shore had only sent one team to Armidale. Talking to a mum with a boy in the TAS Firsts, she commented on TAS's continuing difficulties...

After a warmer autumn, winter has arrived in Armidale. It was -2 in Armidale this morning, felt like -5. Tomorrow should be a little warmer and fine. Joker's description of playing a game in Guyra took me back. The coldest I have been was playing for TAS in Guyra (can't remember whether it was...

It will be difficult. They need another team to beat sjc and then tas win all their matches. A more likely outcome is that tas will come in at 2 or 3. But who knows?!

This fits with my perceptions after watching the high matches. All three tas open teams were sharper than last year. I couldn't judge against the top Sydney schools so the Joeys match was a critical hit out. It's normal for tas to start the season slowly because the boys don't have access to the...

Thank you for this. Given that sj was seen as the lead contender the result suggests that Tas will be competitive. Interested in any other results as a measure of tas depth

Welcome back! Does anyone have results for the tas games?

Something to take you back, Joker. Mike McClellan's Saturday Dance. I imagine they were still going when you were at ATC -

Thanks for this thoughtful response. You make a fair point re numbers. I was just surprised that TAS should win the soccer. TAS has far fewer boys than SBHS or the other Sydney GPS schools spread across rugby, soccer and hockey. You provided the explanation. I am a strong supporter of the...
