I don't know exactly what time, but what happens when a maul is set up with no opposition? It seems to me that referees seem to not want to accept it is happening? There was one off a maul and another off a kick of reception.
I hate to blame the refereeing of a game, so all I will say is that was a great game ruined by one incident. We can forget about the silly offsides he didn't give, or the lying in the way of a ruck.
The rebels can blame themselves though. Plenty of mistakes and they are guilty of pushing it...
As well as going off your feet at rucks, holding onto players off the ball, and not coming in behind the last mans feet. If refs pinged every penalty they saw, it would make a bloody boring game
Farrel is a back and probably enters less than a third of the rucks horwill does, and I've seen him play less, so the stamp per ruck/maul ratio is probably higher than Horwills!
To say I know nothing about rugby is playing the man not the ball, in any case, I know what I've seen, from kids...
I dont need to teach him how to play rugby, stepping on another player is just something that does happen. He's not getting touched up by any big boys at the moment, but still the same old careless guy who will probably step on people even more. You say its happened to you 2-3 times, well for...
In under 16s, the 6 foot 6, 100kg monster from my team trampled my head. I got up and played on, cause i knew he didn't do it on purpose, and this kind of stuff happens all the time. Are you telling me next time i see him i should spit the dummy cause he must have done it on purpose?
In this...
Horwill is not the only player to step on people throughout the rugby season. Playing rugby, i get stepped on and i step on people all the time (not on purpose though, I promise). Its something that happens when people are on the floor and other people are trying to ruck or maul over the top of...
So essentially, any player in a ruck or maul is putting another player at risk if they lift their foot off the ground and put it back down again? If thats true, then we should ban everyone who does it, and if its not true, than your logic for horwill knowing that someone was under him lies in...
