Terrace set up and support the Terrace Rugby Program makes it an easy venue to broadcast from. So if you were Double Take which would you choose.

GT came in second in 2016, lost to Premiers and were ambushed up the range by TGS. Oh and had best for and against - only way to do better is win the whole shooting match.

One final post for GT Facebook page:
QLD Schoolboy Rugby Player of the Year | Congratulations to Isaac who was today awarded the Ian MacMillan Memorial Award for the QLD Schoolboy Rugby Player of the Year. Was great to have GTOB92 and Queensland Reds Head Coach Nick Stiles & Eugenie MacMillan...
I think I understand what you are asking.
Of the boys who played in 1stXV this year I have been able to ascertain for the following schools how many boys in 1st XV played in Year 8 (limited by my records)
GT - 9 boys
BGS - 5 boys
TGS - 5 boys
Be interested if anyone has any more data.
Chazz I take nothing away from State High's 1stXV and their Premiership - my table was whole school A-C in Opens to U13 and U12A's. High doesn't appear to be as competitive across the board.
So the 2016 GPS Rugby Season is at an end.
So here is how the "Whole of School" premiership would look:
1. GT - 175.5
2. NC - 175.0
3. BBC - 162.0
4. TGS - 143.5
5. TSS - 125.5
6. BSHS - 118.5
7. IGS - 115.0
8. ACGS - 96.5
9. BGS - 56.5
I think this is a pretty fair summary of the GPS...
OK so changed a win to equal 4 points and it looks like this:
1 BSHS 30
2 Nudgee 27
3 Terrace 26
4 TSS 25
5 IGS 21
6 BBC 20
7 TGS 19
8 BGS 5
9 Churchie 4
Pretty close to what we have. Thanks for the feedback. It would help give a clear winner though.
OK so it's nearly the end of the season and looks like there is a chance of either an outright win or a shared premiership.
So I thought it may be interesting to run the results using the old Super 15 Bonus Points System - 1 BP for scoring 4 tries or more and 1 BP for losing by less than 7. I...
Ok - spent morning running the "Whole of School" table after round 8.
Even with Terrace only fielding a 15A's they still stay at the top of the table, big weekend at Tennyson next weekend with one of the se school taking out the fictional "Whole of School" title as well as the St Josephs Cup...
Well round 7 is done and dusted and it may be tight finish or maybe not.
In the “Whole of School” points table it look s like this after Round 7:
1. GT – 146.5
2. NC – 133.5
3. BBC – 128
4. TGS – 114.5
5. BSHS – 89
=6. TSS – 88.5
=6. ACGS – 88.5

So “From the Side” must be busy. So using his rules I have updated the “Whole of School” points table up to last weekend. Remember this is Opens down to U12, with only the 12A’s counting towards the points table. At the end of Round 6 the table is:
1. GT 125
2. Nudgee 110.5
=3...
The St. Joseph's Cup will be for the school that wins the most matches. So whether you are 13e's or 1st XV a win will count to who takes home the trophy. The cup will be launched the Official St. Joseph's Lunch being jointly by Terrace and Nudgee Rugby Supporters Groups. Great initiative by two...
