with the shore vs new game I watched yesterday I think shore may have squeezed out a win if the kicker got his "right infront" kicks in having the score 21 all at halftime rather than 21-15, having watching shore in previous games they just have a lot of ticker when it's very close. Also...
no hedge (2) or Rixon (9) both in the shore seconds? hedge could play hooker and anywhere in the back row and Rixon can play 9 and anywhere is the back three?! poor desicions by the Selectors... and what's the go with limited joeys boys, by far the outright strongest team but yet not many boys...
Due to the game I watched where he sliced up the Joeys forward pack on the weekend, I would say he good enough to be selected in the GPS1/2 team. But if he isn't (mainly due to his size) watch out CAS 16s. Definetly a shoe in within the 16s pack.
Intrested in the side and the age group, my team would be.
1. Cameron Fazzari (J-16A)
2. Jake Hedge (E-2NDXV)
3.
4. Nick Brown (K- 1STXV)
5. Rory Suttor (E-1STXV)
6. Josh Smith (G-1STXV)
7. Tom Serhon (N-16A)/ Dylan Pietch (K-16A)
8. Charlie Crawford (S-16A)/Matthew Orphen (K-16A)
9. Will...
@oarsome I may be wrong but the shore seconds have two players who are meant to be in the 16s this year, Rixon (11) and Hedge (2) both who in their respected positions got over their opposite numbers (maybe some potential for shore???)
shore 2nd XV 13 - kings 2nd XV 15
shore didn't deserve to lose, played good running rugby and defence was excellent really hard done by the ref and the outside backs of kings, a shocking call which Allowed kings to take the game winning penalty- shore seconds will be hard to stop this year as...
Jake Hedge is the shore hooker playing for there 1stXV- although he should be in the 16s this year- a very strong player in his age group playing for Sydney Reps last year and again was very strong last year in the GPS 15s comp
