2014 IRB Junior World Championship – New Zealand

    Keep the updates coming please.

    Other June Tests 2013

Canada probably can't win the PNC (Pacific Nations Cup) now. Fiji vs Tonga is basically the final. Whoever wins that, wins the title.

    Japan Beats Wales

I forgot Craig Wing had gone to Japan. Last year Japan really pulled back on the foreigners, but this year they've gone back up. I think Eddie Jones planned on limiting them but he might be getting onto what Kirwan said, that it's hard to compete without foreigners.

    Other June Tests 2013

He was exceptional, close to man of the match. MOTM was given to Ole Avei though, who has grown leaps and bounds as a player since leaving the Reds all those years ago. Not sure if anyone remembers Brando Va'aulu, but he now plays for Samoa too. I thought he looked good as the starting...

    Other June Tests 2013

Canada got a good win over Tonga, 36 - 27. They've now got one hand on the Pacific Nations Cup. Springboks hammered Italy 44 - 10.

    IRB Sevens 2012/13

Sure it does, but Super Rugby and Wallaby players tend to be decent rugby players, Isles is nothing more than a track star in a rugby uniform . The hype he gets is far more unwarranted.

    IRB Sevens 2012/13

Fiji will be really tough. They seem to go up a gear in Hong Kong. Here's the last pool game with Argentina.

    IRB Sevens 2012/13

The heavyweights are all on one side of the draw, which makes it pretty interesting. I don't think Canada, Wales, Portugal or Kenya have made the HK finals before, but one of them will definitely be in the finals tomorrow. I don't think it's fair that Wales top the pool, but oh well.

    IRB Sevens 2012/13

One more game in the pool between Wales and South Africa. If Wales lose, they will top the pool.

    IRB Sevens 2012/13

Yup, they're through to the cup quarters. Won't know who they play until the result of Fiji vs Canada. I agree on Isles. It's as if the commentators have been told by the IRB to pump him up for every little thing he does. If I did a ranking on the wingers of the core teams, Isles would be near...

    Brumbies 2013

Bar the goalkicking, I thought Lilo looked good in his return game. He looked fairly good with ball in hand, but it was his defense and overall workrate that impressed me. I thought with the horrific injury he had last year that he might go backwards, but that doesn't seem to be the case. His...

Wow. What a game by Samoa and Fiji. Best game of the weekend.

    IRB Sevens 2012/13

They beat Kenya just now, 38 - 7. They'll be playing Uruguay next in the Shield Final. Kenya made the final last week and finish dead last this tournament.
