If Jack McNeil from Aloys (and Dural in club) is selected to trial he is a a strong contender for No.1 or No.3; coming from a background in rugby league McNeil is formidable in defence and also possesses rare ball handling passing/offload skills, and is next to unbeatable at tighthead in the...
Controversial red card? The Barker player lifted the Aloys' 6's ankles right over his head in a ruck and let him go!! absolutely shocking play. No reason to do it, the barker player obviously had no idea how to clear out a ruck. The red was very much deserved.
I have also heard of this "Slade" boy (known to his mates as 'Salad' because of his 'fresh' playing skills!!) and he seems to be shaping up as an impressive asset for St. Aloysius. I heard he played No.7 for Riverview 15A's, is that correct?
Jeremy Wells looks to be a certainty for the No.2 Hooker spot this season. He was selected for CAS u11s and u12s in 2012 and 2013, but has fell out of favour with selectors since. However, he is keen to make a comeback with the St. Aloysius u16 A's in the 2017 season.
