Might be a bit irrelevant. But I have heard Downlands will be very strong this year. I have heard they have being investing alot of money into the rugby department. Can anyone confirm this?
Herbet, you must realise that there are kids out there who simply do not want to go to a GPS school and turn down scholarships from GPS schools for a number of reasons.
I realise that it is not the case. However i believe what school you go to really should no influence whether you are chosen...
I have to completely disagree with you there. It should not matter what competition you play in. If twidale or mccarthy is better on the day then they should get picked over a player who is in the GPS for instance and not as good.
The number 10 for dlands really does it for me. He outperformed all his opposing flyhalfs consistently throughout the year. However, could not make QLD 1 or 2. I believe if he had gone to a GPS school he would have been a certain starter in the Queensland team. The structure of Australian...
