    Wallabies v Italy - 9 November

No bench locks is interesting, but Hooper can move into the second row when required. Playing Samu and Bobby V off the bench suggests we're going to run hard at these blokes and try to beat them with ball movement and quick recycling.

We definitely need to switch up our attack. I don't believe we're asking enough questions of the opposition defence at the moment.

No argument there. Len and JAS are our long term options. I'd love to know why Len allegedly isn't playing.

    Wallabies 2025

Ewan has had a bit to say about the Wallabies recently. Come back to the fold and show us how it's done Link!

No Len is a concern. Carter coming into the team needed to happen. Tane unfortunately isn't the answer and we need to see if Carter is still capable. I maintain that he has the highest ceiling of any of our young 10's.

    Wallabies v England November 1

It's unfortunate that we're in the situation we're in at 10 right now. I feel for Tane, because he doesn't pick himself, but he's not test standard based on anything I've seen so far. Our attack for the last few tests has been pretty ordinary and whilst I'm still optimistic about the rest of the...

And this is to say nothing of all the Wallaby coaches prior to the mid-1970s, when our record was considerably poorer.

    Wallabies 2025

Does Skelton become available for the next few weeks? I've not really been following his situation I have to confess.

We'll definitely start as underdogs. Our pack is going to have to do an outstanding job for a good portion of the game, because we don't have the attacking threats we did the same time last year.

Would have liked to see Pietch in the team. He adds some real starch in contact and chases hard all day.

    Wallabies 2025

A colleague of mine whose partner was plugged into the elite system concurs with that assessment. There were no tears shed after Eddie's exit apparently.

    Wallabies 2025 Spring Tour

I'm thrilled Carter is back in the fold, because I honestly think his ceiling is higher than all of our current 10's. I don't think we should select him right away for Wallaby duties, but I'm absolutely glad for us to have the option to do it again.

    2025 Super Rugby Under 16 and 19 series (u16's, 27th Sept - 2nd Nov) (u19's, 13th Sept - 5th Oct)

I feel like the junior production line is as good as I can remember it right now. RA has to take some credit for how the pathways have started to come together and clearly these lads are being well coached too.

    2025 Bledisloe Cup Series

Really disappointing performance from our boys last night. I had a bad feeling yesterday morning when I awoke to the sound of rain hammering down. We don't play well in the wet (two years in a row here in Perth, WTF!) and it made our performance all the sloppier. I actually thought in the...

    Rugby Championship 2025 (non-Aus matches)

So I've now watched a replay and wow, that was both some performance from the Bokke but also AB's WTF? They looked clueless out there after half time. Up until that point it was an excellent and hotly contested game.
