Good to see competitive games in all First XV matches. well done to Terrace on beating BBC for the first time since 2016. BBC competing well with a very young team. Shame some of the publicity and hype from a few years back seems to has dropped off. I wonder what happened to the double take...

A lot of schools really struggling for player numbers now. More kids playing basketball now than rugby at a number of schools. Wallabies being awful for decades now gives the kids nobody to aspire to, and no encouragement to play the game. I also get the impression that one of the issues is...

They played both GT and Churchie and won convincingly in both games, however they classified those rounds as trial games not part of the actual GPS comp. However they flogged TSS and beat Nudgee comprehensively so don’t think there is any asterisk against last years premiership.

Anyone had any luck with replays or keeping downloads of the games? Really disappointing that Cluch doesn’t keep a recording of the games to watch later for more than a day or two.

You would have to think Nudgee wins comfortably now.

Not being able to watch a replay of the games is a big step backwards. A couple of years ago the social media hype and marketing from double take was awesome. Weekly video highlights, history lessons before upcoming games was always great. Seems a big step back this year with what Cluch are...

Churchie were good today. BBC probably tried to play too expansive in the windy conditions, lots of passes not going to hand. Churchie with a late intercept to get the win. BBC will need to get their act together for the real games starting this week.

9 weeks until the BBC v Nudgee Game - slight chance to make it back. Big losses if not.

BBC academic results have been incredibly strong in recent years. There is no way you could have half the senior year on scholarship for sport and still achieve those results. Jilted ex employees feeding half truths to the Bronco newsletter. The courier mail and their terrace mother journalist...

Most of the courier mail articles don’t even allow comments. The ones that do, they review the comments before publishing and reject any that offer some truths or a differing opinion to good old Kylie (who is a GT mother by the way). She clearly has it in for BBC!!

I am going to go with BBC NC TSS Churchie BSHS IGS TGS GT BGS BBC and NC most returning players. BBC play NC and TSS away so will be tough ask, but just maybe after drought being broken last year BBC might be able to go back to back in front of crowds. However could easily see a joint...

This is exactly my thinking. No body questions schools offering an academic scholarship but if it is for rugby then there is something wrong with the system? All of the GPS schools should be trying to achieve excellence in all fields, academic, music, cultural and sporting. This absolutely...

This is a case of don’t believe everything you read in the papers. The Courier Mail has clearly got it in for BBC at the moment. Nothing but negative story after negative story. Why wouldn’t a school like BBC allow some talented kids who may not be able to afford the fees the opportunity to...
