After watching the nationals last year and the quality of the SJRU and NSW Schools teams, sadly I would have to agree with you.

So at U17's NSW Country are not playing the top 23 City players but players who in all probability are not in the the top 50 or 60 but I guess a win is a win and it looks impressive to those that don't know.

It doesn't matter that he was selected because someone else was injured. He now has an opportunity to show his ability and hopefully he will take it. Unfortunately, it can take just one selector or coach to block a pathway.
