I agree with your breakdown of positives and weaknesses, however how come we cannot find 2 locks that compliment each other concerning their abilities. Have a look at NZ and SA, again!
It will be interesting to see how Skelton goes against the AB's. They will watch the tapes carefully and there are still many areas he has yet to improve on that the other forwards have had to cover. He will improve but I am waiting to see how he goes against teams like South Africa and N.Z...
TT they lost a lot of players at the end of last season. It is not easy to bring a team together and gel, like they did last year, in one season. It will take time to rebuild.
Listening to the commentators during the Reds match - it is the first time I have NEVER heard them claim one of their own; I am referring to JJ Taulagi.
Ed Quirk has had his head down arse up and has worked hard in all games. He has put his body on the line and made some serious tackles to save the Reds. He is building a real engine out on the paddock and never gives up.
Seriously, I have come to admire his tenacity.
