A fair bit of dropped pill in the GPS v Uni game. Dalgliesh had a game he'd rather forget I imagine. Konelio was huge, thought Waita Setu had a very busy game too. Can't wait for a potential rematch in 2 weeks! Also, has Nic Berry refereed international games? Yikes.
For mine, AJ has been the best 10 I've seen play this year and if Frisby and Tuttle have to play a half each at 9 or whatever the arrangement, so be it. Will certainly be very interesting to see.
Interesting selection decisions coming up for GPS with Tuttle and Frisby both seemingly available at the moment. Alatimu surely has his 10 jersey nailed down, one of Frisby or Tuttle to play somewhere else in the backline and the other at 9?
Just heard the commentators on the live stream mention that Jay Havelu is over in Europe now? Has he picked up a contract or will he be back for finals?
One thing that I can't understand is how many blatant forward passes are missed. I go to GPS home games and every week theres at least 3 really obvious ones that everyone but the touchies see. What else are they looking at?!
I have had an absolute debacle dealing with the membership team. Contacted in October to renew, yep, sweet, paid by credit card over phone. My mate gets his pack 6 weeks later (same seats). I call up another 2 weeks after and apparently I havent renewed. I call up once a week asking what's going...
Watching the GPS v Wests live stream. Todd Winkley is having an absolute blinder. Try saving tackle in the corner, another on the Wests prop just now and making so many metres after contact. He a shot at NRC this year?
Tough game at Yoku Rd. Bruising defence, fair few errors.
AJ Alitimu was outstanding for GPS, involved in everything. Really impressed by Bobby Tuttle also- for me, he stood out more than when Frisby played for GPS a few weeks ago.
Toby White for Easts is a class player.
Fantastic game at Yoku on Saturday. Wests were very good, tough way to lose. GPS seem formidable this year, love watching that scrum.
Where's Luke Beauchamp been this year for Brothers? Injured?
