yeah sad to see the oatley boys having to cut 3rd grade but its better because the numbers we got to training last night and this week has been quite sad 6 last night and one on tuesday but if anyone can get out of this alive and make through the season its us
i believe theres people who boo and people who seems to think its ok to get the away team's physiotherapist approach me during a jog back to the half way line and her saying to me "do you know those supporters on the hill" now thats bad
some crowds are getting a bit out of hand now a days in a trial our club had with mac uni and some drop kicks decided to start yelling stupid things towards the away team, towards the home team everyone, so we sent one of our more senior club members over and told them where to go.
looks like our 3rds have been canned because of lack of numbers and commitment from players.its scary because that grade has a few team members that turn up at 10.30 play stay around 5.15-6.00 has a 10-11 year old son who along with a few other individuals setting up and packing up the field...
tell me about it theres old juniors from oatley playing in the shute shied then there is playing with us its scary i have been going through the lists of each division and found a number of them that played for us now play for them. its crazy
i mean oatley had gun juniors, they had terrific seniors but the atmosphere at home games for seniors was another level but now theres not many juniors, not enough support at home and seniors is good but could be better. sorry i deleted the other post because i realised that i typed wayyyyy too...
it was a quite a sad turn out from the boys yesterday. i got to the game yesterday and play for oatley yesterday all i saw was a few oatley guys setting up or sitting in the tent and about 20 or 30 harlequins players all jumping running running at each other. the reasons varied lol frightening...
was talking to a co-worker who plays for irish and he says they may play thirds looking forward to this but i hope they do because they are truly a blessing to play against those gentlemen
yep was water person for both trial between oatley and mac uni and was some really good rugby a few of the gentlemen from both sides took it a bit to seriously we had to remind some of them it was a trial lol but all in all it was a fabulous day of rugby and fun
i play for oatley and we were told we were playing 3rd this year for sure the turn out for training seems to be a lot of third graders from last year lol and yes i feel real sorry for northern saints because they are one of the nicest clubs out there would love to help them out but i dont know...
