Under 14 comp is going to be a close end on top Churchie- 4 win, 1 draw, 0 loss Ippy- 5 win, 1 loss Nudgee- 4 win, 1 loss BBC- 3 win, 1 draw, 1 loss will be interesting to see with Nudgee vs Churchie to possibly be grand final as last game of season to basically decide premiers.

ye Churchie won 8-7 with a 45 metre penalty kick to win the game in last play. absolute cracker of a game from both sides

I know for a fact that Churchie will not be going uncontested, but BBC have and will continue to go uncontested

too true!! Personally, i think it is a very quite grubby tactic, packing ur forward pack full of back rowers, which are all very mobile, instead of having the required players for each position

I know that 15A's did, but they were forced to with injury, whereas BBC chose to before injuries came into account

in my opinon, i think it is a bit unfair for a team to go uncontested when they choose not to train any props or hookers.

ye, they went uncontested last weekend, and instead of bring along a proper front row, they had backrowers and outside backs in the front row

BBC 14A's caused an upset on the weekend, scraping a draw against a strong Churchie side.

Anyone got any input on the Under 14's this year and how they are tracking.. Also, I know that Churchie and Nudgee face off this weekend.

I do agree with you, but say for example other GPS schools like Churchie are still putting up competititve teams in all competitions that do not feature any specific boys on rugby scholarships.

I think that schools like BBC need to stop relying on those scholarships in the younger age groups and start attracting kids taht are interested in playing a fun sports with their mates.

Would be a real shame for those other schools that can field a team in that comp to not be able to face all of the remaining 8 teams. BBC and BGS need to step up in that demand.
