Ruru was very poor last night. He's not an international 9 by any stretch of the imagination, let alone a quality Super Rugby 9. Makes letting Stirzy go/forcing Stirzy out after being the skipper even more disgraceful.

But there were posters saying he was going to challenge Genia for the starting position ...

A lot of players having a very bad year with Coleman, Niavalu and Hodge trying to play themselves out of the Wallabies.

5 very winnable matches coming up (then the Highlanders). 4 wins should make it our best season.

As there were many posters in recent year suggesting Stirzaker was a Wallaby in waiting. Honestly, can't see that Stirzaker would add any more than Ruru does to a team that is showing all signs of cohesion breakdown.

Add Koriobete to the list of Rebels playing themselves out of Wallaby contention.

So now we are bitching about the players - well the buck stops with Baden Stephenson on this one. He has been the selector for five seasons. He took on Radicke Samo at age 38or was that 42?, umm he let Telusa Veainu go, he took Henry Hutchison from the national Sevens and sent him to club rugby, he lost Sean McMahan to Japan - oh my, it is a long list of regrets... Ruru, Coleman..

Craig McGrath (Player Development / Skills Coach) will be leaving the club at the end of this week. He is taking up a coaching role in Japan.

Best wishes to Craig in his new role.

That's about the lot of the pre- Force coaching staff gone now I suppose - must have an impact on team morale if the new guys take ALL the positions

There's a possibility that Craig will be back for a stint next year with no Top League for a year - Rebels want him to be there.
