Also can we get some pregame entertainment like this (6:30 onwards)

Makes a Nudgee vs Terrace game look like a subbies match. Crazy

Yep , went uncontested after the second GT prop went off in the 2nd half , had a couple off injured in the 2nd XV as well , basically ran out of props .

Nudgee demolished Ipswich today. The forwards walked all over Ipswich at the breakdown. The Ippy backs were very good, but Pasatoa really made Walker look like it was a man v a school kid. Superb performance by Pasatoa, possibly his best yet.

What was clear today is the following:

Nudgee won’t have any trouble with any teams for the rest of the season;

TSS won’t have any trouble with any teams for the rest of the season;

TSS will win the Premiership;

Nudgee will be runners up.

A shame to have the Nudgee TSS game in the first round as the season has unfortunely been decided already and now it’s just a bunch of games playing out that have no consequence.

Terrace...oh Terrace...how far have you fallen.

Congrats on your vast network of rugby contacts,
You have either:
1) contacted the dir of rugby & 14A coaches of the 4 remaining schools to play the mighty NC 14A;OR
2) you are listening to gossip.

A wise man once said "it is out of touch scrum doctors like you that have caused GPS football numbers to now double that of rugby"
Keep it up and NC can scrum each other each week.

Your mighty NC 14A's have fallen.

In yesterdays game the IGS 14A forward pack were outstanding and dominanted the breakdown.
Their scrum was so powerful that we won 3 against the head and
their talented No10 had the game on a string.

IGS 17 - 0 NC 14A

4wins from 4

The boys from the bush put on a show against BBC having beaten them 35-12. showing a skillful team all round, although BBC didn't start off with a full strength team, it seemed that they were adding more and more first XV players by the minute. Downlands played some class of rugby with 8,7,12,13 and as always 15 shown to be big stand outs

Delighted for Red Blue but respectfully I don’t believe there were many current 1st XV players out there yesterday it was mainly 2nds, 16A n a few returning from injury on display so there combinations would have been poor. Please see run on side vs 3rd round team lists below. Your Neighbours TGS didn’t put up much defence against TSS yesterday.

Put it into perspective - 20 points scored by Nudgee in the last 15m of what was a one score game

Maybe some tired legs with a couple of the IGS forwards but it was clear they really missed Ethan King in the midfield / outside defense where it got cracked open

Credit to Nudgee however who are hitting their straps at the right time

Ipswich still in it if they can win through the remainder of games that do include BBC ( next week ) and TSS in the 2nd last round )

If that was Pasitoa’s best game yet than the Brumbies are going to be hugely disappointed. Let’s look at where Nudgee are going to win this Premiership. Jock Thompson is a machine. His focus and passion will bring this team forward. Trezman is an opportunity king with his elusive play. Harry Vella is a force that gives our most impressive back Dan Muller the points on the board. Let Finn kick for goal with his far better kicking.
TSS and BBC are still undefeated, so let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Well said RR I totally agree 100% with your comments:

Pasitoa is not playing to the anywhere near the same high level as years gone by, whether it be with ball in hand, defence or his kicking game - is he injured?

Jock Thompson is exceptional in every facet of his game, by far one of the standout players this year.

Nudgee are definitely contenders but they need to turn over a lot less ball and then it all depends on whether TSS drop a game and let them back in. This weekend will probably be the best game to gauge how BBC compare to NC when they take on Ipswich.

I watched Jock Thompson play for Country in under 13 or 14’s as a fly half, ahead of Gordon (22). It is not until this year again I have seen his passion and aggression. Very impressive. Hoping to see more.

The Downlands 15 is the best player I have seen this year-but BBC had only 1 1st xv player from week before on the field.

Keep crowing & bringing in the number of imports you do & you my find TSS & NC only get to play each other.
As others have already said-the Dir of Sport & Headmasters have already spoken about it.
It will be the same 2 teams next year as it was last year.'The real shame is that TGS actually won the 2nd xv game yesterday against TSS as did ACGS v TSS-if that does not show a "stacked" 1st xv then nothing does.

TGS v TSS - TSS by 15 - trip up the hill may blunt TSS a bit and TGS at home are aways a hard team to beat
GT v BSHS - GT by 7 - If and that is a big IF BSHS click GT will be in for a hard game.
BGS v ACGS - ACGS by 14 - ACGS backline to start to perform
IGS Vs NC - IGS by 7 - Only because IGS are at home but I can see NC playing their brand of rugby and coming away with the win.

Well you had a good tipping day!!
