Well yes Rodwell is a contender at that position. Just wasn't too sure about how fitt he would be due to injuries? But it seems that he is doing well, and by the way, there is no rugby program in the Ais! All rugby is ran under the ARU, so not sure where your on about how he is In the AIS.

5. Dalton Cox BGS- Underrated lynch pin of the BGS foward pack. Plenty of height, strength and fitness. Dominant at the line-out, tackles all game. No player in GPS compares in terms of focus and execution.
6. Jayden Rodwell NC- Dominant backrower for Nudgee all season last year. Punishes anyone within 10m of the ball, resilient and gutsy.
7. Patrick Morrey BGS- Fearless ball runner and Gill-like pilfering ability. Has made bulk gains since 2012. Destined for rep honours to go with his premiership crown. He has the hunger for it too. Big things to come.
8. Evander Guttenbiel TSS- Stood out at lock last year. Plenty of size and ticker with skills to match strength.
9. James Tuttle NC- He'll be in there somewhere. Not a lot of other big name contenders.
10. Mitch Third TSS- Third year as 1st XV 10, half of the best 10/12 combo in Queensland schools.
11. Tyrone Hussey NC- Absolute gun. Threatens to bust the game open with every involvement.
12. Nili Fielea TSS- Second half of the best 10/12 combo in Queensland's entire schools program. Freak. Scary.
13. Nigel Tanuvasa ACGS- Wrecking ball, incredible in attack. Would've made it in 2012 if it wasn't for injury.
14. Matt Marsden BGS- Out and out flyer. Steps around everyone without fail, defenders cannot get a hand on him (See NC, BBC, BSHS games vs. BGS in 2012). Returning matchwinner from the GPS premiers.
15. Josh Bowen BBC- Like Nigel, another super talent whose 2012 was cruelled by injury. Watch this space.

Wilkin missed QLD and National trials last year due to a broken collar bone in the last round of AIC but recovered in time to be selected to play in the NZ tour.

Junior and Wilkins are certainties because Philpotts wants them for Aussie schools.Bowen is playing flyhalf for BBC but will be in the squad to cover 3 backline positions. But is he eligible if Storm /Cowboys have him on their books?

Mate you need to really think about him, hows his form is. Compare him to back-row players like Brad Wilkins and JUnior Fakaosilea, because these are players who he will have to work like in order to get passed the AIC jumper. Its important when judging players at this level of school boy footy that you compare them to players across the age group, not only by the comp they play in. If he is dominating in the AIC competition, that doesnt mean that his dominence will show on the field against GPS, because we all know that GPS has a more developed rugby program. ALso it is important that you dont recomend players if he is a favourite or a friend of yours, because it is the hard yards he puts in the game that really counts in the end.

Its his opinion, and i agree that Clarke has a chance of pulline on a QLD jersey. Although it is how opinions doesn't mean it is correct. Because who knows who will have a blinder at the trials.

Mate completely agree with you there, GPS is a stronger comp for sure I'm just calling it how I see it. I have no affiliation with the kid, I actually went to Pats. I'm just expecting him Junior and Wilkin to be the back row for AIC and mentioning that all three are a look in for the side. I'm sure that there are plenty of worthy candidates in GPS as well, will all depend on trial form.
