What gets me is that these things weren't in back play,miles off the ball and the officials had no clue. That I could understand. No,they happened within five metres of the refs. The ball was there. They saw it. But they Sargeant Schultzed it. Unbelievable.

Not being involved with either team, and not being from a squeamish background either, having seen it on the vimeo link provided in this thread I see it as straight red and deliberately violent cheap shot - again only an opinion fed by view of replays

I also took the time out to view it on vimeo before casting judgement.

The Ref and AR saw something because they had "words" with the wing.

To be brutally honest as well, Harvey milked it for all it was worth as well.

Earlier in the game, Dave Harvey tries to milk a penalty by attempting a quick line out and throwing it straight into the Uni player. When he does that he throws the ball forward ...

Norths v 2 Blues must have been a great game.

Rats going very well so far. It will be interesting to see how they go when they come up against some of the heavyweights, with a couple in Team Rehab. Their depth will be tested then. The Battle of the Insular Peninsular will be a massive game this year if they can keep their form going. (Round 6 on 3 May). That had better be the ABC televised match that round.

Rats have a fortnight of test coming up. Sydney Uni next week (TV game) then manly at manly oval which starts a run of 4 consecutive away games

Parra scored 5 tries to 3 and lost by 2 points. They were the better side for most of the day IMHO.

Oh man Harry Bergelin is a beast. A couple of lineout steals and a couple of turnovers as well as being very difficult to contain in the ruck. He also has managed to get 7 tries in 4 games. Surely some super rugby teams will take notice.
