According to Marlins website Lalakai Foketi and Benson Fakai are both playing 3rd grade today. Hearing whispers that coach has lost the dressing room.

I don't think two players who have played less than a handful of games between them all year,are representative of the dressing room.
But that doesn't mean the whispers are necessarily without foundation.
That is to be expected when a team is perceived to have under performed.
They have had significant injury problems with their backs all year,and would have been much more competitive with these two in their centres undoubtedly.

yeah well said. bit rich coming from lily, talking about a coach that lost 35-34 to uni last year (with 14 men for 65 of those minutes when foketi got sent off) and lost his captain hodge with a broken ankle. and fakai chose not to train this year. if thats losing the dressing room, where is his brother John now playing lily?? i saw him in the program in a couple of 1st grade games for manly earlier in the season, now I notice he's wearing a uni jersey.... wow.

Well what do I say a great weekend of rugby down at Forshaw have just got back to Far North Coast, on the plane again next weekend to go down and watch some more great rugby can't wait.

After watching Brisbane GPS rugby for the last 2 years I have been so impressed with all the clots rugby in Sydney this year and the clubs.

It was a well run show on the weekend at Southern Districts hope to see some bigger crowds next weekend to cheer all the teams on.

Plus the refereeing was very good a few missed thing but that's rugby.

i would not count manly out, they played well in the first half against woods, if they get a lead from norths, they will go on with it.

Can someone clarify how the player points for fresh reserves will work on the weekend.
Uni 2nd colts play on Sunday so if they reserve for Uni 1st colts on Saturday , will they count as fresh reserves?
It should be the same as always for Norths as both the colts side play on Saturday.

IIRC reserves do not count for points in any finals fixture.

Ok. I looked on the website and the fresh reserve for UNI 1st colts last week was included in the team points but this may have been a Uni mistake.
If this is correct then Uni can play Angus Pulver ( 9 points) off the bench without breaching the rules?
