Agree, without being too harsh the major point I was making is what Ive seen of Tala I dont really rate.

He hasn't impressed in any Shute Shield or Super Rugby games I've seen but he certainly did his job at Biarritz. Sort of a no frills loose forward.
I hope he brings that form here at some point, Aus rugby needs more guys who get the job done.

Good to see some young guns like Hanigan, Deegan and Short in there. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the development squad got some games in the NRC.

So on the site it says I have to purchase tickets online and bring to the game. Are they not selling admission at the gate?

Someone know what's up with Jono Lance? Don't think he's been named in any squads and isn't injured to my knowledge?

I am very skeptical of these selections. Some of these players have only started few games in SS. Seems to be an Easts favoured team, even though Randwick finished 3 spots ahead of Easts. However am happy to see Carraro as skipper. Today will be an interesting game.

Chapman, Hoiles, Horwitz and McKibbin are unavailable this week.

Country did well today.
I liked the performances of nearly all the Backs especially Carraro, Mafu & Ford. Thought Ala'alatoa went well in the Pigs.
Wouldn't get too carried away with the result today as the Eastwood Rams did come off a week of Grand Final winning celebrations.

Funny about that, the Coach is Easts Coach after all. Watch where the Norths recruits play next year.

An easts dominated team? They have 3 players starting and 2 on the bench.

That is still more than the wicks, a team which finished better off, true? the three players included 2 of the tahs. Still a great performance today! Up Country
