Was fortunate enough to sample Little Creatures beer at their Fremantle brewery last week. White rabbit dark ale was beautiful - the excellence I am looking for when drinking small quantities at a high taste sensation.

La Sirene's Praline is a ripper. Slightly unorthodox (the chocolate and hazelnut flavours are clearly notable) but it's as velvety and smooth as Guinness.

I'm a big fan of Six Point a well. The Crisp is my other favourite of theirs.

Thanks. I'll have to give the Crisp a go.

Only issue with Six Points is their cans don't fit my stubbie holders :)

MURRAY’S Brewery is going all out to advance Australian fare this Australia Day long weekend with a special release Lamb-Borghini Australian IPA and lamb food specials.
The family-friendly venue is also hosting its annual thong-throwing competition for kids and adults, with prizes for the longest throws, and there will be Aussie tunes on Saturday and Sunday.
The Australia Day weekend marks the launch of the brewer’s first ever Australian IPA – aptly named Lamb-Borghini Australian IPA.
‘‘It’s un-Australian to drink anything but great Aussie beer on Australia Day – so we decided to create something special for the weekend,’’ brewery owner Murray Howe said. ‘‘ Lamb-Borghini Australian IPA is brewed at Bobs Farm and is 100per cent hopped with Australian hops, and virtually all of the malt is Australian, too. Bitter, sweet, well balanced and all Australian – it doesn’t get better than that on our national day celebrating all that’s great about our country.’’
This limited-release beer is being matched to a series of food specials also featuring lamb such as spicy aromatic rubbed Lamb-Borghini (lamb leg) rolls with spiced mustard, an Aussie-style lamb curry and a tandoori lamb pizza.
Cook Adam Richie said he relished the challenge of coming up with dishes to match the new brew. He’s also taken inspiration from the Australian love of lamb and his grandma’s curry, which he called ‘‘the best curry I’ve tasted’’.
As always, punters can also enjoy beer and wine tasting at Murray’s, or learn more about the brewery and the beer it brews at brewery tours held daily at 2.15pm. Saturday’s entertainment will be provided by Cath Cannon; and on Sunday there will be an interactive performance from Aaron Hood. Thong-throwing competitions will be held at 3pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Murray’s Brewery and Port Stephens Winery is at 3443 Nelson Bay Road, Bob’s Farm.

Yet to tick off 14 of the top 50, and 10 of beers 51-100.

Some of these listed are rather difficult to get hold of in NSW, or at least at the Bottlo's that I frequent.

My local is a great supporter of craft beers and it's there that I've tried most of them. The only problem is I habitually buy the ones with higher alcohol % and end up too drunk to take note of what I've swallowed!

Great Northern Hotel is a prince amongst pubs. As well as reasonable food and plenty of exotic and new beers (see current lists: http://nowtapped.com/greatnorthernhotel) it always has the Wallabies, All Blacks and Rebels on the box.
