I take it that the Augustines v Gregs matches were the only ones that went ahead?

All roads over the mountains being closed all day Friday and Saturday, I assume that the matches involving Stannies and Kinross were off?

Answering a question that no one asked hey?

It sounds like your boasting about these results? Surely not.
Nope, just doing what many posters request.
Giving info on results.
Read the thread from the start, many different posters do it for varying age groups from various Schools.
If you get a chip on your other shoulder, you will be better balanced.

Your new here, and you won't last long if these posts are what you're here for. I suggest that you go and have a look at a few of the threads. We all provide scores and/or results of matches for the information of other posters.

If you've got no contribution other than trolling, you might spend your time doing something else?

Agree - pull you head in 747 - else you will be grounded.

No - it's not a democracy.

You didnt mention the Voldemort thread: trolling is encouraged there and someone needs to fire up the old beast to make sure she's still working

Oakhill and Stannies postponed game from Saturday will be played this Wednesday at Oakhill. Kick off 1.15pm. Should be a cracker of a game. Both these two teams had 2 close matches last year both in the ISA round and Waratah Shield semi final.

Oakhill beat Stannies today 22-17. Stannies led most of the game but Oakhill scored 10 minutes before full time...

Well Stannies must be thinking what do they need to do to beat Oakhill? In the last three encounters over the last 2 yrs Stannies have been in winning positions late in the games only to go down in the final minutes.
Onto yesterday and with the Highway open free of snow. Stannies boys travelled down got off to a flyer. 2 tries in 20 mins one to 7 Donato and 10 Hardy and 12 Donato converted both tries and then kicked a long range penalty goal on the stroke of half time and Stannies were up 17-5 at half time they must have thought surely this is ours to win. But like all goods sides Oakhill rallied and scored 2 quick tries down each of the wings. Suddenly 17-15. Momentum well with the Oakhill lads. Stannies tried hard using their forwards in repeated pick and drives but couldn't maintain possession long enough. Credit to Oakhill forwards in the breakdown. With 10 to go Oakhill scored again and converted to make it 22-17. Stannies continued trying to get possession, and phases together. It was last play Stannies penalty about 40 out. They opted for the scrum. The Stannies scrum had been dominate all game. However Oakhill won the ball against the feed from the scrum kicked it out and won the game. Well done Oakhill quality team. Bad luck Stannies. Tried hard but just not their day.

Augustines played a visiting English team yesterday, so I'd assume that they wouldn't be playing any Waratah Shield this week.

Yes Auggies played the Bromsgrove School (Midlands) from the UK on Wednesday evening. Apparently the scores were something like; the 16s/2nds combined won by a lot of tries to maybe one and the 1sts won by quite a few tries to a couple.

Bromsgrove School were the winners of the NatWest Schools Cup in the UK so a high performing UK rugby school - however several games played in Australian in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Melbourne and now Sydney had depleted them somewhat.
Apparently one boy had a complete thumb dislocation in an earlier game that earned much admiration from the other boys.
The boys that were able to play played nice brand of rugby.
The Head of Rugby commented that they found the Australian style of rugby was much tougher and of a higher standard than they were used to - but he said they would be better next season because of it.

Always a pleasure to host rugby boys from overseas schools.

Auggies v St Pats.
1sts 27-18 win. Bit scrappy apparently but a win is a win. Especially after last year.
16As 64-5 win
The ghost of last year has moved on for these two teams.

I think most other grades won. Not sure what 13As score was but would expect to be reasonable based on all their other games.

All A games to Augustine's I believe. Don't know scores, but all pretty one sided.

I stupidly had 4 coffees while sitting through the 2nds and the 1st games, augies were leading 10-3 with about 10minutes to go, the lead changed four times in the last ten ......this much adrenalin and caffeine are not a good mix

Augustines 1st XV games seem much closer/less dominant that they have been in the past few years.
