So the Alexander bros could go up against each other on the weekend. Some good prospects in that Barbars side. Looking forward to seeing Lolohea, Munro, Viiga, Pili-Gatua, Sinoti and Laloifi in action.

don't think his contract was renewed, but believe he is in the training squad. He has been playing a bit of 7s of late, so maybe he's pursuing that option too.

Hasn't TT tried & discarded enough small wingers during his tenure? Junior is not his type... and I have also heard that he rejected the Aussie 7s program as he didn't want to leave Brisbane.

As for Sione Taufa being named on the wing, does it matter that he is a flanker?!?

What do you mean about Taufa?

Has TT cut that many small wingers? Alex Rokobaro maybe. Unless you mean 6ft 100kg Telusa Veainu?

Telusa is 100kg soaking wet after a massive feed and a dozen beers. Kingston, Rokobaro another two. Just not the style of winger he seems to favour.

As for Taufa, he is a flanker. He has been named on the wing. That is very unusual.

When did that happen with Taufa?

Rokobaro struggled at that level and Kingston was always injured. Hard to fault that logic.

Unusual but not unknown - Nigel Ah Wong as an example.

Onehunga Havilli. Think it was the other way around? Was a #8, killed them in the speed tests so was moved to the wing for a season and then returned to the pack (ended up at lock in the NRC).

Former Wallaby #8 Jim Willias was a centre originally.

Would have been great if all the Aus Super Rugby franchises played them BaaBaas leading into the season.
