I would imagine that RD is referring to a couple of matches this round that will determine the finals outlook.
Colts 1
Manly vs Warringah - This is virtually a play-off game. The winner should take the 6th spot in the finals. If Warringah win then they only need win one more against Souths or Norths to secure 6th place. If Manly win then they need also win both against Penrith and Wests to snatch 6th spot.

Manly vs Warringah - This is also a vital game for Warringah. They basically need win all 3 remaining games to make finals - an even then rely on other results.
Eastwood vs Sydney Uni - Uni safely in finals. Vital game for Eastwood. They probably need win at least two more games to secure a finals berth, Norths and Penrith to come.
Randwick vs Gordon - Randwick safely in finals. Dependent on results Gordon can probably still make finals without another win but would obviously like to put it beyond doubt. Hard run home with Uni and Easts to follow.

It's one thing to forfeit 3rd Grade Colts but to wait until 24hrs before the games to pull out of the 1st and 2nd Grade Colts fixtures is piss-weak in the extreme. Not only have they deprived the Souths boys of the rare opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the Grade players and supporters at Forshaw, but Penrith have just made it clear to all and sundry that they don't give a shit about what anyone else thinks of them.
The Colts games were scheduled for Forshaw this week due to the appalling behaviour of a few of the Penrith players at the games earlier in the year. Penrith players, and an official, were contravening the licensing laws by drinking their own beer inside the ground, and when asked to stop, they threatened to assault the Souths GM! And then we had 2nd Grade Penrith players wanting to start a fight as the teams gathered to cheer on the 1st Grade teams. Souths made it clear to Penrith that unless these issues were addressed adequately, there was no chance our players and supporters would place place themselves at risk by playing at Nepean in the return fixture. A compromise was reached several weeks ago, or so we thought, with the plan to play 1st and 2nd Grade Colts on the main field at Forshaw before the 1st and 2nd Grade fixtures.
Sadly, while I've previously suggested increasing the support for Penrith by sending more of our high-profile schoolboys and rep recruits out there to assist with their playing strength (and, hopefully, the club culture) I now find myself thinking that it probably is time to cut them loose.

Possibly the mid-week one can be understood - but Sat also = not good.

Eastwood (56 – Northern Suburbs, Penrith), Southern Districts (54 – Warringah, Randwick) and Eastern Suburbs (51 – Parramatta, Gordon) are all in the mix for the positions 3rd to 5th.
On form Easts should win both and go to a maximum 61 points, Eastwood should account for Penrith and go to 61 points with game in hand, and Southern have two hard – must win clashes to make top 4.
