Have to say that the score at Hunters Hill didn’t reflect the closeness of the game. Scots must have bombed nearly 5 tries despite desperate defence.
Pretty silly post to be honest. Things happen like that on the field and words get said both ways. Just look at some of the footage after.
Yes well Joeys had a win at Scots in the trial in 2017. We know how that ended. Must have short memories?
Yes nice wind up Wristy! Joeys don't take much notice of trials win or lose & no GPS comp is won in May just as the ALP found out the hard way.
Scots look like they will have a strong side. I don't think anyone could write them off.
Yes Joeys were lucky this year and I am sure many would acknowledge that. Yes not one player was considered good enough for GPS 1s and only.
Joeys had their longest drought of 11 years and broke it in 1918. Exactly 100 years and equal longest drought 11 years they do it again! History.
Yes SDW - as a Joeys supporter it would be nice if our team didn't leave it to the last 2 minutes!! A great game and this week we got a bit of the.
Joeys have a few out. The game against Kings was extremely physical and both sides limped off the arena after giving it their all. I hear Kings.
Not being harsh B&W. Newington were the better team and extremely unlucky not to win and deservedly should have. However, you only have to go.
If Joeys plays like they did on Saturday you can double that margin to fifty.
The good news is that their worst game hopefully is out of the way..
We might have gotten a bit lucky G.O. and I agree with you re the send off not helping. Being a proud Joeys supporter it was nice to see our boys.
Ok but again they just might be the best. Apparently Joeys have no combinations and can't get a look in (last 2 years).
Have my Joeys goggles on.
It certainly was and GPS 1s were terrible in both. The score was only close after a send off and to be quite frank some of the hype about big names.
Congratulations to all players on their selections.
Good luck to GPS this week.
Yes I’m sure it helped but maybe they had the best players. This was not the strategy for GPS teams of the past and they had major success.
All very deserving players (there are others not mentioned from other schools) in the previous 2 posts but this 'combinations' argument is becoming a.
I think this is a very fair analysis. Joeys should be proud of their effort and will have some comfort and take some heart in that they nearly.
Yes thanks Rich. The problem is that due to the new format and the timing of selections, many GPS players haven't played each other and so a.
Silly comment and you obviously don't know Hugh's dad who is one of the most humble blokes out there so please don't make assumptions like the way.
