Heaslip has been extremely audible over the ref link during the past few weeks. He's chat has been non stop and I suspect he may be the pack leader with POC concentrating on captaincy and lineout calling
I don't think we'll lose too much in terms of leadership this weekend. We still have...
Having just come back from Cardiff anyone who pays over $200 a night is a lunatic, there were lots of rooms going last week if you were happy with a 20 minute train into the city.
Ireland team has been announced by the Gerry Thornley (IRFU Press Relations Officer)

Irish in firsts and seconds and Canterbury in 3rds are the lambs to the slaughter next week. 3 great games today all decided by a score

Yeah our firsts really stood up got a few to come back in next week.
Canterbury were 22-0 up then got 2 red cards apparently.

Huge news and great for our second grade! However it does show that Subbies are willing to make an example of lower division teams but a certain Div 1 club was able to get away with 14 red cards without being sanctioned this heavily. The same thing that happened your blokes versus us in 1sts...
Beecroft are very beatable in 2nds, our lads were beaten by an after the buzzer try by them last week. Don’t put anything past nine and you kick make sure it goes dead.
Latham Park should be good to go, Randwick are playing some catch up games in the lower grades there as well so I assume that the floodlights are up to the minimum required standard
I’m hearing rumours that Wednesday night games will be used in Division 4 to help clear the fixture backlog as well as using this designated bye week to fulfill all of last weeks fixtures! Expect some lopsided games as holidays/work/other halves get in the way of teams fielding full strength teams
Didn’t that Merrylands game already happen over the long weekend?
Festival of Rugby is a good concept but realistically who really wants that kind of tournament mid season?
We actually ended up getting a 28-0 win for it. In fairness you either register as a Convicts or Colleagues player regardless of the relationship between the clubs. Apparently Convicts team sheets will be watched carefully by Subbies to ensure it doesn’t happen again
Strange week in firsts in...
Irish had bonus point wins in firsts and seconds over Convicts. Missing a few so was good to get some wins.
Convicts didn't field a 3rd grade so there was an impromptu Halligan gane against Colleagues 5s which has gone down on the Subbies website as a Walker Cup game. Convicts trying a sly one...
They should have just allowed the match to be replayed. In whats turning into a really tight division Subbies shouldn't allow a teams season to be decided by a refs temper tantrum
No one will get close to Beecroft certainly in firsts this season they are too well drilled. Dropping from Kentwell to Div 4 is a huge drop and you can see it. Possession and territory was even-ish from what I hear about the first grade game on Saturday but the quality of defense won the day for...
He just froze from what I understand there was niggle but it was never going to boil over. I've never seen a finish to a game like it! Yes refs are volunteers and have a tough job but that was a shocker yesterday. Not sure what will happen if the result will stand or if it will be appealed...
I have to say a much stronger team than last year fair play for the work you've done. Under the pressure they were in the first half to come back has to be respected
