  1. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2022

St. Ignatius was a member of the Loyola family in Spain. The Loyola family crest featured two wolves on each side of a large pot, which has since become commonplace in Jesuit iconography. It is supposed to represent the generosity of the Loyola family who set aside food for everyone, including...

Joker, it would be hard to go past a wolf for Riverview. Just look at the school crest. I think your perception of Riverview rugby has been altered by your cerise-tinted glasses! ;)

    Easy finished 2018. TME
  4. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2022

TME here, making my long awaited return from a 18-month hiatus. Was fantastic to venture down to Hunter's Hill this weekend to watch 'View take on Joeys. A tough result to stomach for someone with Riverview allegiances such as myself, but there were good signs for the upcoming GPS season...
  5. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2021

Not to discount Joeys at all, but View played them without Bowen (10) and O’Donnell went off after about 25 minutes injured. Those two are certainly standout players, but the fact that view still managed to get up, albeit in a very close fashion, is a testament to the depth and skill in the view...
  6. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2021

Not sure the exact length of his recovery and rehab, but with the long weekend and school holidays around the corner, hopefully he will be fit and healthy towards the back end of the season.
  7. The Metre Eater

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

Not sure that posters on a G&G forum talking about schoolboy footy have as much influence in the game as you seem to believe...
  8. The Metre Eater

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

Not a good look from the CAS student contingent with their relentless personal attacks on the GPS1 and GPS2 players. Leaves a sour taste in my mouth after a great night of footy.
  9. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2021

I was at the Riverview vs Barker match. Between passage of ‘view dominance (just a joke - it was a great match and both teams were impressive) I was able to gauge that the Riverview old boys were being rather vocal across the field, but didn’t hear of any particular misbehaviour. Would be good...
  10. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2021

Usually the schoolboy’s contribution is rather witty considering they are studying creative writing and whatnot in English, but this match are seriously lacking.
  11. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2021

Cyclo can you please sort this mess out???

Looks like the scots boys have hopped on the forums...
  14. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2021

Can’t say I’m surprised, I thought Bowen was a lock for 1’s. Maybe the fact that the selector is from Scots had something to do with it...
  15. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2021

Surely even someone with an unbiased opinion can agree with me that Bowen deserved to make 1’s. His impact on the team even today was unbelievable.
  16. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2021

ODonnell I hear will be back for round three. And I can confirm no darkies were packed.
  17. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2021

    Anyone seen scrumcap?
  18. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2021

  19. The Metre Eater

    NSW AAGPS 2021

Riverview have also beaten Shore for the last 5 years. Why would this year be any different?
  20. The Metre Eater

    Subbies 2021

Superb. The faster they root this sort of behaviour out of the game, the better.
