Must be hard to keep a group like that together. Any word on coaching? If they can keep a core group together it would be a great nursery for MMM and beyond
Has this been confirmed? What a preposterous, contemptuous decision if so. Sydney Uni have failed to ensure availability of their home ground when it was very clear it might be required of them - and as a result they are awarded with an advantage that should be conferred on the Minor Premiers...
lily i believe its due to Warringah 2s needing to be at some spot that their first grade are. According to the strict rule of the draw manly would also be playing at manly oval if it werent for this complication.
They have even picked up a few lower graders from manly as well as a player who had played first grade and made quite an impression too. Seems odd to switch allegiances so late in the season particularly as they will know they will face their old teammates come finals time
What an atmosphere at manly oval yesterday. Never mind the numbers which I have heard to be around 7k, but the noise what was distinguished it from tahs game for mine - supporters who really care about the result. Manly are doing something right - in particular it's not easy to keep a team of...
Not being involved with either team, and not being from a squeamish background either, having seen it on the vimeo link provided in this thread I see it as straight red and deliberately violent cheap shot - again only an opinion fed by view of replays
