I also recall Grammar also losing by 2 points earlier in the season? Eddies seem to be only just scraping through against the other teams so I'm calling an upset in the next two rounds over the injury stricken Eddies boys!

Looking over the scores from last years Waratah Shield I'll be expecting a big defeat for the lads against St Augustines. Quite sad as I thought this might be the year my Pearce boys would get up over their old foes! Scores were 25-12 and 45-12 if my sources are not mistaken. Grammar getting...

Has there been any more word on the situation from the uni vs dara game? They seem to be unaffected judging by the score they put up against ADFA was the earlier post a wild exaggeration of actual events?

I didn't catch the game but from the sounds of it Grammar put up a wonderful performance, usually if a team is piggy backed up the field it is because the other team is ill disciplined. With the bigger forwards such as Lomax and the other prop it isn't hard to believe that a lack of fitness...

When a kid with good rugby playing potential and a choice between Eddies and a school like Erindale whose average atar sits at around 65, it is still a very reasonable option. Its not the reason for their high enrollment in question, only the move of a select group of players who it is...

    ACTJRU U18 & ACT Schools XV 2013

There are clear reasons as to why they would have moved to Eddies from their respective schools and clubs, with the main reason being a stronger rugby program. As they grew up they would have seen Eddies dominate throughout their schooling and know that that is a good school and a good program...

    ACT - Stand alone ASC

When I say ASC I am referring to the full organisation, which includes radford, burgmann, trinity etc which are the teams i was referring to when saying the ASC would be dominated by four schools, as is the ACT competition. I would hazard a guess that these teams would provide less opposition...

    ACT - Stand alone ASC

I totally agree and think what angrydog is saying really is quite ridiculous. The clubs are fielding quality sides these days and to think any of the school teams outside the div 1 could compete with any of the larger schools is frankly quite daft. Please only bring rational and reasonable...
