Tahs own worst enemy in the first half however blew Rebels away in line outs and scrums. Their D is pretty special, and that’s what wins you games against NZ teams.
Rebels clueless apart from 2 or 3 players.
Congrats brums, not the best team on the night but able to adapt better. Mind you they played against 13 men for almost 10 and 14 men for more than 20 mins and still couldn’t use that advantage. Brums should have won by 20 with that advantage, so not good enough by any measure.
Lonergans...
Congrats to Reb’s, deserved win. Tahs played terribly!
What’s with the person operating the clock not keeping time properly. Ref calls time off and clock keeps going for more than 20 seconds. Siren went early - made absolutely no difference to this match, but certainly could do one day.
I reckon other countries will be very much taking notice of Gleeson now, especially the ones north of here. He hits so hard, and you can see the tackles player feels it for a while. I think he had some of the biggest hits last night and that is saying something against the Drua!
Wright put the Petaia pass down for the first try, His eyes were clearly looking ahead not at the ball.
2nd try was from a 50/20 where our fullback should have covered.
I think your missing a few Brumbies players in there....;)
Bell ahead of Slipper and Porecki ahead of Lonergan (and maybe even Fainga'a). Not sold on Wright - super talented but makes poor decisions.
What an absolute pile of shit. Incorrect, bullshit, and sour grapes from someone who obviously can’t handle another school beating them.
FYI, I know of a boy who was on a scholarship at View - your story just gets weaker and weaker.
Hear hear Onside. The 7's program has contributed many girls into higher honours including Piper Duck who is a big part of the Wallaroos team currently. The coaching team is first rate, with at least one them coaching at a state level. As to the boys program, plenty of home grown talent there...
