True BH but the big question is - Do we have the talent or is it our coaching etc. that's poor? If we don't have the talent then it's OK to be 10th, if we have the talent and are not making the most of it then that is NOT OK.

Very true. We are very critical of players who show some weaknesses ie his kick out of play in that test. He is professional in what he brings and I have never seen him going walk about during a game. He is on and going from the start until he's replaced, I wish we could say that about all our...

Why? They are paid to be professional and being professional means doing your base job to a high level consistently week in and week out. If you are poor in an area then additional work is the only option.

We must disagree here BH, our history (based on watching not stats) is that we have lost a lot of tight games through poor kicking. There have been many close games where our goal kicking has been average and we end up hammering away at the line with 10 to go when a field goal should have been...

NO! but many should have been put on kicking training if they showed some history or potential. We are in a tough position with kickers and nothing appears to have been done to give us some options. Several thousand kicks at goal from all over the pitch and most with talent will improve. Even...

Don't think so, too light and not tough enough for international but his time may come.

We have had three coaches and still no alternate kickers to show for it, were they all stupid or are there no other players who can kick? It is a skill not some magic.

I wonder why the 10 is assumed to be the kicker? Even a lock won a test for us - but a bit of a special lock...

I still see Foketi/Kerevi at 12, Ikitau 13, Kellaway 15. I don't think the backs apart from 10 will have any shocks, unlikely but he might pick one of Toole or Ryan as a flyer, maybe not in the first test with Schmidt as coach. The forwards will be where the surprises and the interest for me...

Exactly Ghost, He covers a fair bit from the bench and as such I think he will be there. Amazed anyone here thought of him as a starting 12/13/15 player!!! Also his D is the best of the possibles.

    Wallabies 2024

I think that is a possibility due to Gordon's ability to cover centre and maybe FB. Who the starting 10 will be I have no idea out of the pot. Anyway not long now and we will know the squad. Does anyone know the announcement date?

Some things appear obvious that Schmidt could do to improve the wallabies this year. Breakdown speed, support and winning turnovers by pilfers and counter rucks. When to pass and when to hold. We have too many players (ie Tom Wright) playing like a league player going for the hero run. Support...

Just read that the French wanted to grab Chalie Cale but Joe Schmidt talked him out of it.
