As a country we have no problems producing enough backs, everyone wants to score tries and be the pretty boy.
It’s the undervaluing of the 1-8 that we have done so badly for 25 years. The backs get the higher contracts young, they do less hard work and get most of the glory as we see here time...
When any Australian team gets back to our DNA of running the ball, we’re always at our best.
Def the ABs were the better team, their first yellow card was an atrocious decision and the second 50/50 at best.
I def think our replacements were totally outmatched by the ABs.
All the same great...
Quite telling how badly the replacement front row went for the Wallabies. Will you now acknowledge the difference in quality to that of the run on props?
Very disappointing our replacements couldn’t lift and ice it with a man up. No go forward and demolished in the scrum.
Population means a lot for supporters and sponsors. Thinking it’s purely based around Juniors playing is madness. It’s all needed to have healthy franchises.
Better off leaving them with the Wallabies U20 and try and develop a winning culture with his age group, especially leading into the Junior WC. I’d have even liked to see young Jorgensen go there but unfortunately he obviously got injured for Wicks. There is not much those young guys are going...
15 out of the last 16 games now to the Brumbies. The Waratahs would have to be one of the worst provincial sporting teams in the world. The biggest population, the most corporate $, the most juniors etc etc etc
You rally on about mass changes after a loss now you want to change a winning team.
You rally on about the unfairness of comparing game 1 to game 2, yet you somehow think that comparing 20 minutes off the bench, or 1/4 against 3/4 quarters is ok,
I for one hope that they start both those...

‘The bench front row looked better and more powerful’
I love these kind of comments, some of the run on side played 60 minutes in that rain and wind, didn’t lose a scrum, turned over ball and carried strong against a front row with over 40kg on them.
He went well, tough conditions for a hooker with that on again off again driving rain and wind. I thought our front row were superb in the set piece and around the paddock. Pilfers, strong defence and carries, they definitely did their job well last night.
I do hope that we get at least one...
Huge turnaround and to all the naysayers that were going to burn them at the stake after 1 game and chucked a tantrum around the number of team changes, I hope you might wake up to yourselves in future.
I thought the piggies were the star of the show, those that ran on and the reserves off the...
They got comprehensively beaten and it’s a 4 team series to find your best squad and team for the WC. They play 3 times inside a fortnight. Geez you’d think they were in the second week of a season competition
Not
Not just the PI players. Thomas Yassmin just proved even key position are not out of the question for a development pathway prior to making it here like Hayne and Holmes.
It’s definitely a big all round challenge in front of the game here in Australia.
Let’s hope tomorrow’s effort and...
It was game 1 in the worst conditions for Australian Rugby, both union and league, players. Think about our loss to Scotland in Newcastle or so many others here and overseas, it’s not a great excuse but we have as a nation never excelled in those conditions. Let’s wait and see how the next 2...
A Scotsman trying to school us on rugby is like an African trying to teach us how to swim. You have 1 single coach with a better win ratio and it’s only just. Cheika did a great job and the style was not perfect but very clear. Bit over the shit panning of one of our best homegrown coaches of...
That’s now 12 straight wins for the Brumbies over the Tahs. Amazing for the Brumbies and recognition of the hard work they have done to build their culture and brand of rugby.
Disgraceful record for the Tahs given their resources and location.
The entire Tahs organisation needs to be tipped...
Good to see you’ve come round. For a long while I thought you were one of those anonymous online warriors that liked to tear down successful young men.
Thank goodness I was so wrong.
