The first 8 rowed the MUBC 8 they borrowed at head of the river. And then hopped in the second 8 boat and raced in that boat for Nationals. That second 8 boat is now being used by the Jnr crew that’s trialling.

Only have two to three weeks between nationals and when you have to be ready to trial at selections so have to focus on keeping combinations together.

Not sure where that intel has come from. They raced all regattas through term 4 (including Shore regatta, etc plus the Reindeer regatta) and all regattas this term except at the Nepean on the weekend and their home regatta earlier in the term when they were hit by sickness.
There was a large speedboat driving down the middle of the course and washing off the crews. Not sure which one but either kings or Riverview boat was picked up by one of the waves and washed into the other taking them out and breaking the kings stroke seat oar so he couldn’t row the rest of the...
