Anyone who has been around & involved in club rugby long enough, would know not to
place too much emphasis on the results of trial games when making predictions
about the outcome of the competition.
From what I have seen this rear ,most of the clubs have simply used the trials
as just that...
Full time, Brothers 25 def Randwick 18. Scrappy game with lots of penalties throughout, many of which were for "high" tackles.
Hopefully this is not an indicator of what to expect in the upcoming season.
How to win friends.
I hear Parramatta two blues have signed a player who had already signed with another club & been training with them since last year.
Well my predictions above are simply based on early rumours, & early rumours often prove to be incorrect.

Far enough.I'm not in touch with schoolboy rugby these days, & am happy to accept your statistics re Trinity.
But I don't think a schools rugby prowess should be solely judged on inter school competitions restricted to the boys ages.
To my mind, consideration should also be given to the ultimate...
I didn't realise "Trinity aren't any good anymore".
Funny that , I attended a first grade game between Eastwood & West Harbour this year, & noted that 5 of the players on the field were
ex Trinity.
