    Southern Inland Rugby 2015

words I hear from a few players is that their happy kank is not coaching them.. very little knowledge and has little to no clue what he is doing from their experience with him this year.. Sure small has had his opportunities.. but so did all black coach graham henry.. (of course there is the...

apparantly wagga city will have a stronger playing group for 2015 with the confirmation of mick small back at the helm as 1st grade coach.. am hearing positive things with this coach back in the frame and also key players old and new confirming their commitment due to the new appointment..

They did carry on abit about winning the romano's cup and who ever is writing the sports section in the DA must also be playing for city with the amount of publicity they recieved. They did finish off strong and won some silverware which by the looks of it was much needed for the club. Few...

Looks like Wagga city will be bumped off out of finals contention. Its hard to see them beat Waratahs this w.e. I backed City to make the finals this year alas they just dont have the guidance and mungrel to knock over crucial wins. Waratahs forward pack will be too strong if city continue to...

Thats a fair enough call. Train to play policy is good to have in place excusing those that work ugly shift work hours and have to pay bills and provide for family etc. But Jason Lagaalii is needed in their midfield with his hard knock about runs and bone crunching hits, Lamarn Im sure only...

    Southern Inland Rugby 2014

Whispers I hear from Saturday Jason Lagaalii, Lamarn Maa & Jo Tora played thirsty 3rds, 2nds then only Jo backing up for 1st grade. Have a feeling if city get these lads all on at the same time for 1st grade they should be finals contenders. Hopefully I'll be in wagga to witness these blokes do...

The best XV of players from any school

Another version of Westfields Sports High School. I think Westfields were in their prime around 2005,2006 & 2007. I am very certain they would of beaten most GPS teams, more so in the first XV of 2007 would've been one of the best school teams in the country. It was a shame no private school...

namtrak For us the thing that is lacking, are representatives from the various unions, coming out to watch games and see the Leferves, Rowans and Schischkas of the world playing on a weekly basis. Hit the nail on the head there. jb23 my only opinion to the Brumbies Provincial curtain raiser...

Funny enough you mentioning these boys (AJ, Robbie & Somi) I have had close ties with this family for years (on & off the field) and no matter where they played they would have been rewarded with rep honours. And with your so called solution you are wanting, whats the point..?? I have been...

*sighs* Getting picked to make the numbers on the bench is hardly an achievement.. A good opportunity at most.. Is that the only example of a player "making it" so far??

Chuck him straight into first grade I say. A prop of this calibre will most certainly lift this team where it needs to be lifted. He certainly was a great prop when I watched him play at gordon and parramatta 1st grade teams. Although when I did catch a glimpse of him in wagga he was favourably...

And thats where it'll stop. Although to play in the provincial rugby team is a good step, this rep team would struggle to keep up with the John Dent comp club teams. Cheerio to the boys who will play but more needs to be done for country rugby to improve and not just throwing in a "charity"...

looked like marika was only mucking around with his opposite number who looked like the size of one of his legs. Maybe if Rambo was at 12 and not 6, the mid field would have been alot more physical. Looked like wagga city also had a former shute shield 1st grader/ex-aussie schoolboy/former...

Sanix World Rugby Youth Tournament - 2014

I remember when Westfields sports won this comp in 2007. correct me if Im wrong but I think they are the only team to lose during the pool stages and come back and win the comp.

Western Sydney Rams . NRC Official Team Thread

You mean Nepean Park right?? Merrylands RSL Rugby Park aka Granville Park would be the best option.. Plenty of parking (and street parking), crowds are closer to the field all around the park, close public transport, and its the heart of the west. If the rams are to be successful, this is where...

Doesn't look like city are going crash hot so far. Still early days but am hearing for a team with a big forward pack they struggle physically.. Shall be interesting to see who steps up for them against the blacks.. Big hard hitting islanders.. I wonder who will front up ....???
