Watched livestream IGS v TSS game, called a mate of mine from IGS, no fewer than seven U16 boys blooded today against the might of TSS. Courageous effort shown by a smaller back row against the biggest forward pack in the GPS system. IGS backline showed lots of talent today.

Have it on good authority that IGS u14's A side was without their 9, 10, 11, 13, 15, 6, and 3. GT were very good today and should be proud of their effort. The IGS B players who played up today should also be proud of their efforts, matching such a strong GT side.

The mail I have from ippy parents is coaches in IGS 13s have created a strong culture within the teams. Two coaches have coached the boys since grade 5. Only 2 big boys added to A side this year. BSHS side is much bigger than IGS, I put it down to coaching and culture.

IGS U12A's playing for undefeated season and premiership won 73 / nil on field 1 today. IGS rugby management made a decision, and it's unfortunate that the U13's couldn't play on that field also.

In addition to Realdeals response I just checked IGS stats and see that they have won all games in u12a, u13a, u14a, and all but one u15a, losing by one point to TSS. u16a not travelling well. If the coaching there is so bad, why are they winning the majority of their A group matches. I agree...

Charles is the head coach of IGS 1st XV, Eagle assists. Eagle is the rugby advisor to all age group coaches (rugby director role). If IGS rugby was in such bad shape then why did they win 12a, 13a, 14a, 15a, and 2nds against Churchie, a school twice the size in numbers and finances. Pretty...
